Detroit-based artist Ellen Rutt collaborated with light artist Patrick Ethen to create this bold, colorful and energetic installation that abstractly represents the process of idea generation. They explore the intersection of high-tech and handmade through the use of playful, familiar shapes with integrated lighting. Illumination travels from one shape to the next, fostering a cosmic sense of connectivity that is both whimsical and futuristic.
